North Dallas – Where to Celebrate

Frisco Freedom Fest!

Plan on a visit to the Frisco Square for fun & fireworks. This festival will be held around the Frisco Public Library @ 6101 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco, TX 75034. (For the general vicinity, click on this mapping link.)

This is a 2-day party, starting on July 3 and ending with a flash-boom-bang of fireworks @ 10pm (approx) on July 4th, 2022.

July 3rd is an evening of races (come on, folks, you know there’s no running in this daytime Summer heat.) Races include:

  • Cornhole Tournament
  • Dachshund Races
  • Hotter ‘n Firecrackers 5K Glow Run
  • Yankee Doodle Poodle Parade

July 4th is ALL about the Fun & Food. Loads of children’s activities; Classic Car & Motorcycle show; Hometown Heroes; and a Patriotic Vendor Village.

South Dallas – Where to Celebrate

Deep Ellum & area are hitting the highlights and bringing firework fun to the neighborhood.

July 2 – Dallas Mimosa Walk from noon until 3:30pm. Where: Deep Ellum Outdoor Market (101-199 N Crowdus Street. You will need tickets for this event. ($35.00 per person) Eventbrite is one source for tickets @ Eventbrite. Funds from this event will go to assist Ukraine families. Souvenir glass included. Vendors & local businesses are participating.

If you haven’t visited Deep Ellum in a while, this is a great opportunity to wet your Texas whistle & support our neighbors across the world.

Red, White, & Groove

July 4th – Red, White, & Groove from 11am until 10pm. Where: AT&T Discovery District, 308 S Akard St, Dallas. Live music takes center stage @ 4pm: Country Music to Electric Guitar to Soul. There’s something for every music-loving ear. The night will end with a booming finality of digital fireworks, and a live performance by Old 97s. General Admission, which is an RSVP is available for those interested.

Downtown Dallas – for those right in the heart of Dallas – the Dallas Symphony Orchestra will perform July 4th, 2022. Performance begins at 1pm at the Morton H Meyerson Symphony Center. Tickets ARE required with seats priced at $23.00 and up, per person. Star-Spangled Spectacular, an Annual Patriotic Tribute to the U.S. of A. will host a visiting presenter.

Fort Worth & Beyond – Where to Celebrate

Fort Worth’s Fourth

Downtown area – Panther Island Pavilion, July 4th from 6pm (gates open at 5pm) until 10pm, 395 Purcey St, Fort Worth, TX.

Plop on your cowboy hat, or really any hat, as the 4th of July this year looks to be a scorcher. Fort Worth’s annual 4th of July event will host live music with performers: Metal Shop & Party Machine. Event planners made certain to include loads for the kids in your life with bounce house and slides, kid-sized bungee bouncing, zip-lining, face painting . . . well, really all of the things that make adults still want to be kids. When packing your traveling mister or cooling cloth, make sure to pack your Texas-sized appetite as food vendors with all your FAIR favorites will be on site.

FYI – no outside food or drinks are allowed inside. Support your local vendor and buy a couple of corn dogs or plates of funnel cakes.

Burleson’s July 4th Independence Day Festivial

Parade – Sponsored by the Lions Club of Burleson, a festive 4th of July parade will wind through 2.2 miles of Burleson’s streets. Parade kicks off at Old Town Burleson at 9am.

Evening of festivities and fireworks – Music and fireworks are the theme for this patriotic evening.

Food concessions will be available, but guests can bring their own 4th of July picnic. Leave your pets at the house – they don’t like the loud boom of fireworks anyway. And dogs simply cannot appreciate the rockets’ red glare. So be good to your canine friend and leave them in the cool for the evening.

Metroplex – The In-Between Spots – Where to Celebrate

Sparks & Stripes

IrvingSparks & Stripes: Independence Day Parade & MORE from 9am until 5pm. Where: Levy Event Plaza, 501 E Las Collinas Blvd, Irving, TX. Parade begins at 9am. Visit the Sparks & Stripes link provided here for the exact parade route. Also, find the best parking options through this site.

Starting at 10am, nibble your way through chilled watermelon slices while enjoying a concert by Josh Gilbert at Heritage Park, 217 S Main St, Irving, TX

Not ready to stop celebrating? Levy Event Plaza will host LIVE music and additional events: kids’ area, 4th of July worthy food & drink, rides, and of course, FIREWORKS. The fun kicks off at 6pm, with the splashy sky display at dusk.

Southlake Stars & Stripes

The party starts at 3pm and everything is shut down by 11pm. Residents and visitors to Southlake can enjoy patriotic festivities that include Tributes & Traditions, tons of food, and a nightcap of exploding sky brilliance. From burgers to ice cream, event coordinators have planned for your every 4th of July eating indulgence.

Family events include corn hole, paint splatter, stilt walkers and music galore.

NOTE – this event is on July 3rd.
